For your course project, you will conduct in an in-depth analysis of a chosen healthcare organization and recommend evidence-based strategies to address organizational challenges and opportunities in a dynamic environment. For this assessment, you will provide the foundation for this analysis and apply an understanding of the external healthcare environment across core disciplines.
Assessment Instructions
Complete the Organization Overview section and the first part of the PESTLE Analysis section of the Course Project Template [DOCX]. The sections should be 2–3 pages in length.
Use the same copy of the Course Project Template for each assessment, building on the document as you progress through the course. This will ensure cohesion and prepare you for the final project.
Organization Overview
- Introduce the organization you are choosing to work with.
- You can use the same organization used in HCM-FPX5310, building an in-depth portfolio, or you can select a new organization, building a diverse project portfolio.
- If you are struggling with choosing an organization or are looking for an example of an acceptable topic, consult the Healthcare Organization Options [DOCX] document.
PESTLE Analysis
- Conduct a general PESTLE analysis of your chosen organization.
- Choose a topic identified by this analysis. This can be a challenge or opportunity to be pursued.
- Identify possible factors in the external health care environment that impact organizational outcomes, both overall and to the specific topic you have selected.
Submission Requirements
- Ensure written communication is free of errors that detract from the overall message and quality.
- Format your paper according to current APA style and formatting.
- Use at least two scholarly resources beyond those given in the course.
- Both sections should be between 2–3 pages, plus references page.
- Use 12-point, Times New Roman, double-spaced.
